The meanswhile MINOTECH® Fatigue Field Parka in Sage Green is a weatherproof jacket that utilizes Japanese draping techniques in its pattern to create a beautifully unique outerwear piece. Made of Teijin’s MINOTECH® material, the surface of the water-repellent fabric is made uneven by the weave structure and yarns to reduce the surface area of water droplets, allowing them to roll off the fabric. The fabric's interior is laminated with a waterproof-breathable membrane for further protection. By using cationic thread and regular thread, the difference in the degree of dyeing gives it a chambray-like appearance and visually striking texture.
The Fatigue Field Parka features a roomy body width with a slightly cropped fit that hangs beautifully, and three dimensionally tailored sleeves and hood. The raglan sleeve pattern is designed with an ample chest and wide-set armholes so that it can be worn as an outer shell over layers of all sorts. The hood covers the face similar to a balaclava to increase protection against the cold, and zippered openings have been designed in the underarm to allow for ventilation during active use, or when commuting. The Field Parka has a full two-way main zip with snap storm placket, two front waist pockets, a hidden Napolean pocket with magnetic closure, and a utility pocket at the left bicep. It is finished with velcro-adjustable cuffs, and drawcord adjustment at the hood and hem.
