Still By Hand is the project of designer Yusuke Yanaghi whose penchant for high-quality garments with attention paid to the smallest details in pattern and construction led him to establish the label in 2009. The brand makes all its products with Japanese fabrics, in various regions of Japan, with an open-minded approach to color and form which reflects the nature of the country and its varied geography. Subtle cues from sportswear and casual classics are carefully refined, giving birth to relaxed patterns with a unique voice all their own. Through managing every phase of design and production, Yanaghi is able to execute his vision with a level of precision evident in each piece.
