The meanswhile Fade Denim Wrap PT in Indigo is a stunning reinterpretation of the the traditional Thai "Wrap Pant" done up in a 9oz, uneven yarn Japanese denim. The fabric is indigo rope dyed at a dye factory with over 100 years of history in the Bingo district of Hiroshima Prefecture, which is the production area for denim fabric. The surface of denim fabric woven using innovative looms is uniform and beautiful, but the use of uneven yarn gives the fabric surface an expressive appearance. The denim is then carefully washed and distressed to mimic the patina of a favorite vintage pair of oversized jeans.
The Wrap PT features an integrated webbing belt and metal clasp detailing as well as two side pockets, two welt pockets at the rear, and a coin pocket. The trousers has three button hole options, and can be worn belted in and high-waist or belted in and folded over for a variety of styling options. The ultra-wide eye-catching leg silhouette is truly unique, and as we often find ourselves saying with meanswhile . . . we've never seen anything quite like it. The Sizing of the Corduroy Fat Wrap PT is unconventional to say the least. The wrap waist–in which excess fabric is folded over and secured with the integrated belt–makes useful reference measurements a bit of a challenge. Generally speaking, we recommend Size 1 for waists of 28"-31", Size 2 for Waists 31"-34", and Size 3 for Waists 34"-37" but full free to reach out with any further questions.
