The HATSKI Original Washi Denim in Ecru is a newer flagship style for the contemporary Japanese denim brand. Cut from a 11oz sanforized denim in a gorgeous natural ecru color, The Original Denim has a fitted waist, higher rise, rounded hip, and a straight leg with a slight taper all of which gives it a unique silhouette on the body that looks great and feels super-comfortable.
The 11oz sanforized selvedge denim that HATSKI uses is woven on vintage looms and is known for its tight, high-density weave and a texture that is both light and soft in equal measure. For this version the brand's standard denim is blended with washi, a Japanese paper-based fabric that gives the jeans a lighter and crisper feel. The Original Denim sports a traditional 5-pocket design, and is finished with contrast stitching, a button fly with custom hardware, and a clean and minimal debossed cowhide leather patch on the rear waist.
