Field Shell JKT Snow
from meanswhile
The meanswhile Field Shell JKT in Snow is a water-proof-breathable shell jacket with a unique and eye-catching 6-pocket construction that is cut, sewn, and finished in a GORE-certified factory in Japan. The Jacket features a roomy, generous cut built for winter layering, and both the sleeve width and width of the body are sized with plenty of space so that you can fit a chunky fleece or knit beneath. Both sides of the JKT are equipped with large side-slits that can be opened and closed with a two-way zip, and have the purpose of clearing the interference of a backpack's waist belt in addition to ventilation function. On the coat's exterior, there are 2 flap chest pockets–each with a zippered pocket directly below it–and two bicep pockets to store small valuables and essentials on either arm. The JKT is finished with a two-way full zip with interior storm flap, an articulated hood with 3-point adjustment, and adjustable velcro cuffs.
The lining is fully seam-sealed with branded tape and has excellent waterproofness. Nylon Taslan yarn is used for the outer fabric of the three-layer material, which has excellent moisture permeability. Peach processing is applied on the exterior to get the texture of the face-fabric closer to that of cotton, improving the elegance and overall look of the piece. By adopting KOMATSU's "SAITOS" membrane technology for the intermediate layer and bonding nylon tricot to the lining, the jacket achieves a water pressure resistance of 20,000mm and a moisture permeability of 8,000g.
