Steeped in Kobayashi's love of the mountains in his native country, Mountain Research brings together a series of different narratives that explore ideas around protest, radical literature, and self-sufficiency through garments, accessories, and objects that emphasize their utilitarian forms and quirky disposition in equal measure.
