Silent Weapons by Richard R Ross

from PTP

Silent Weapons is a photo document of NYC’s current and very bubbling “new DIY underground” by one of the scene’s most vital lenses, Richard R Ross. The book covers the first year of the PTP collective’s new live series, of the same title, each which assembled powerful voices from our music community to do work for others - having raised over $3,000 for various local jail/prison abolition and immigrant rights non-profits.

We believe it gives an honest snapshot of not only the energy of the so-called experimental/DIY music scene but what we stand for in terms of destroying borders (be it gender norms, genre, geographical, etc.), whilst elevating these diverse narratives and how we can mobilize to push forward as a collective. - PTP2018
