B.D. Pullover Black

from Mountain Research

Mountain Research are renowned for their complex brand mythologies, and this season is no exception. The Mountain Research B.D. Pullover in Black is a selection from the brand's FW'19 KANADA sub-collection, which envisions a utopian anarchist territory called 'Kanada'--yes, you read that right--in which a peaceful people known simply as the "Horn Collectors" live in harmony with a large population of deer. They do not hunt them, only collecting their antlers after the animals shed them.

The B.D Pullover is a button-down half-placket shirt with a boxy fit constructed of a soft, mid-weight Japanese cotton flannel fabric. It is emblazoned with a delicately embroidered "deer family" detail in blood-red thread on the right breast while the left breast features a small button-up pocket. The shirt is finished with a button-down collar, dual-button cuffs, and a rear box pleat with hang loop.
