The meanswhile Fade Denim Pleated Sleeve Blouse in Indigo is a stunning reinterpretation of the the traditional pleated denim trucker jacket done up in a 9oz, uneven yarn Japanese denim. The fabric is indigo rope dyed at a dye factory with over 100 years of history in the Bingo district of Hiroshima Prefecture, which is the production area for denim fabric. The surface of denim fabric woven using innovative looms is uniform and beautiful, but the use of uneven yarn gives the fabric surface an expressive appearance. The denim is then carefully washed and distressed to mimic the patina of a favorite vintage jacket.
The Fade Denim Pleated Sleeve Blouse in Indigo features action pleats on both sides of the front as well as the backs of both sleeves which also function as gussets. While greatly increasing the range of motion of the arms, they also add a visual design accent. By adopting a wider boxy cut, it can be used as an oversized blouson that can be worn over thick knits. In order to recreate the atmosphere of workwear, in addition to the washing process, the damage to the pleats and other details have been reproduced in detail. The Pleated Sleeve Blouse features a full button-front placket, two button flap pockets, two on-seam side pockets, and adjustable button tabs at the hem.
